THB joined a group of 50 insurance sector organisations today to launch the Inclusive Behaviours Pledge aimed at driving greater inclusion across the profession.
“As part of our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion, THB is proud to be a founding signatory of the insurance InclusivityPledge” said Rob Wilkinson, CFO of THB Group and Executive Sponsor for Diversity & Inclusion at THB, who also represents THB on the Inclusion@Lloyd’s Committee. “We were among the first brokers to sign up to the Lloyd’s Diversity & Inclusion Charter and our membership of the Employer’s Network of Equality and Inclusion gives us access to high quality, practical advice to support the development and implementation of our plans in this area.”
In a press release issued today by Lloyd’s and Zurich who jointly spearheaded the initiative, Lloyd’s CEO Inga Beale said, “Having worked in the insurance sector for 36 years, I’ve seen just how far it has come, particularly in the last decade. I’m proud of the progress that has been made, but the job isn’t over yet. The Inclusive Behaviours Pledge is a public commitment reinforcing our promise as individual organisations, and as a collective, to challenge inappropriate behaviour and create increasingly welcoming and inclusive workplaces for the diverse talent powering our sector.”
