Graham oversees the Administration team which is responsible for all aspects of mid-term adjustments on fleet policies. With 19 years’ experience within the insurance industry prior to joining THB’s London Market Fleet team 13 years ago, Graham looks to the team to provide a high level of service and will constantly look at ways to improve the team.
Rakesh has been with THB for over 12 years, holding various roles within the Motor Division. Focussing mainly on broker administration, supporting Graham Stephens. Rakesh ensures that any complex queries are resolved in a timely manner.
Joe heads up our successful Motor Fleet Division which is recognised as one of the strongest teams in the UK marketplace. Joe has over 25 years’ experience both as an Underwriter and Broker, the last 12 of which have been at THB. Joe has been instrumental in developing our fleet trading business and our in-house facilities and underwriting platforms.
Tim is jointly responsible for our Commercial Division which includes property, casualty, motor trade and haulage. Tim has over 30 years’ experience in the Lloyd’s Market having held previous roles at C E Heath and AFL Insurance Brokers. Tim has a wealth of experience; this, combined with his key market contacts, enables him and his team to find the right solution for you and your client.
Owen is jointly responsible for our Commercial Division which includes property, casualty, motor trade and haulage. Owen has been with the Group 8 years and joined us from R K Harrison. With over 20 years’ experience as a Lloyd’s Wholesale Broker, Owen has built up a large number of key market relationships which he uses to support his retail broker clients. Owen’s service driven approach together with his ability to provide results is reflected by the team he leads.
Michael has over 30 years’ experience in Motor Insurance, 29 years of which have been gained whilst at THB. Michael is the Renewal Supervisor of the Motor Fleet team and, with his team of 7 staff, supports you and your clients in obtaining the most competitive renewal terms.
Sarah is responsible for our UK Professional Risks Division which includes PI, D&O, FI, Cyber and Medical Malpractice. Sarah has 22 years’ experience. She joined THB in 2012 after spending 10 years at HSBC (now Marsh). The team’s focus has been developing a professions book comprising of the above mentioned professions. Sarah has been instrumental in developing our newly launched CyberAid+ product, an SME online quote and buy cyber product along with exclusive PI offerings for surveyors.
As Operations Director, Paul Kelly uses his three decades of experience working in the London Motor Fleet arena to ensure THB UK Risk Solutions service remains at the forefront of the wholesale market. With 21 years’ service at THB, our team can call on his wealth of market knowledge whenever needed.
Glen is responsible for Fleet UK and Encompass, two bespoke Motor Fleet products. Glen has spent his career working in the UK regional broking market and has been with THB for 15 years. In that time he has built up a wealth of experience and a broad range of industry contacts.
Justin began his insurance career in 1989 with Royal Insurance and has subsequently performed commercial underwriting, risk assessment and sales roles in challenging commercial insurance environments within insurer, retail broking, insurance distribution and wholesale broker businesses. Justin previously worked for Rarrigini & Rosso Group and currently has responsibility for sales and distribution across the THB UK Risk Solutions trading divisions and manages THB’s team of external Business Development Managers.
Thomas Thompson began his career in 1999 and progressed through technical, underwriting and broking roles at Marsh, Groupama, Heath Lambert and Global Aerospace. Continuing his Aviation insurance career at THB Group, Tom leads the Group’s Aviation Division and is involved in placing an all class international Aviation book of business with worldwide markets. Combining his experience and knowledge of the UK Aviation industry with the THB UK Risk solutions team, provides a one stop solution for all of your clients’ requirements.
Toby has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry having started at Sedgewick in 1995. He has both underwriting and broking experience leading Marine Cargo and Specie teams at Goshawk syndicate and Guy Carpenter. Toby joined THB in 2016 from Integro where he led the Marine team as a Managing Principal placing both UK and International marine business. Toby is Managing Director of our Marine Division and assumed responsibility for our Energy Division in 2018.
Oliver began his career in insurance in the late 1990’s working for an emergency assistance helpline attached to travel insurance policies where he was able to make use of his language skills. Soon after this an opportunity arose to move into Motor Trade underwriting with a small provincial broker in Surrey, where he developed his skills in the field. From here Oliver moved to a large international broker, where he was part of a small team looking after classic motor traders and private collectors. Today Oliver is firmly ensconced in the world of wholesale Motor Trade, and he has been doing this at THB since 2012.
Kirsty oversees our Fleet Production Support Team which is ultimately responsible for all administration surrounding new business and upcoming renewals. With 15 years’ experience within the London Market and working for THB in various roles within the Motor Fleet Division, Kirsty strives to ensure the team delivers a streamlined service to all of our clients.
Mike is responsible for our Freightshield and Coachshield facilities for the placing of Goods in Transit, Liability, Property and Marine Stock Throughput covers for the haulage and coach sectors.
Mike has 20 years’ experience and joined THB in July 1999 to develop the non-motor haulage scheme which, combined with key market contacts, enables him to find the right solution for our brokers.
Sarah is a Senior Account Handler within the UK Commercial Division. She has gained 10 years’ experience in the Lloyd’s and London Market whilst working at THB and is responsible for new business co-ordination and handling renewals.
Stephanie is a Senior Account Handler within the Commercial Division, responsible for the administration and handling of upcoming renewals and new business. She is a delegated signatory for all policy documents and mid-term amendments and oversees all our delegated authority arrangements with our various insurers. With 12 years’ experience within Lloyd’s and the London Market she has worked in various roles on the commercial side and uses her expertise to provide exceptional service to all our customers.
Kevin has over 18 year’s Motor Fleet experience in both an underwriting and broking capacity. Having joined THB in February 2011, he now oversees the Fleet broking team. Kevin has strong and longstanding relationships within the London Market to find solutions and competitive terms for our brokers.
Kevin has over 17 years’ experience in the insurance market. Having worked his way from the ground up, Kevin has formed excellent relationships with both brokers and underwriters. Kevin uses these skills in his role to develop new products and services and to maintain and form new relationships.
Will is a Broker in our Motor Fleet Division. He has over a decade’s experience in both wholesale & retail insurance within the UK. Taking advantage of his background and extensive small market relationships, Will is able to give you the competitive edge whilst winning and retaining your clients.

Ricky has been working for THB for over 30 years, originally dealing with claims in the private motor department and progressing to private motor underwriting and then motor fleet renewals.

Lynsey is a Renewal Negotiator within the Motor Fleet Division. Lynsey has 20 years’ experience within the insurance industry, 15 of which have been in the Lloyds and London Market whilst working for THB. Having had various roles within the department, Lynsey strives to provide the best all round service possible to our clients.
Karen joined THB in 2001 as a Renewal Negotiator following a long and varied career as a Schemes Underwriter, covering modified and specialist vehicles, and also in a broking background developing and managing cover binders for risks such as Household, Private Car and Personal Accident insurances. Karen has a wealth of experience and technical knowledge which she can draw upon to ensure that all our brokers receive the best solutions to meet their clients’ needs.
Rob is a Renewal Negotiator within the Motor Fleet renewals team. He has worked at THB for over 7 years, starting as a Renewal Administrator and progressing to his current role. Using his experience and understanding of the Lloyd’s and London Market he strives to provide a comprehensive service on all renewals.
Having spent 16 years as the Credit Manager at THB, Nigel joined the Motor Fleet Renewals Team in June 2016 and now strives to deliver the best possible renewal terms for you and your clients.
Robert joined the Renewals Team within the Motor Division in the Spring of 2018 after gaining 6 years’ experience with the Admin department. Robert is relishing his new role and seeks to ensure a first-class service is provided to you.

Mike has over 30 years’ experience within the London wholesale market, having started his career in a junior role at John Holman & Sons in 1986. He gained promotion to the position of London/East Anglia Area Manager from 1994 – 1998 when his team re-branded as HML Marketing, where he continued until 2004, actively promoting HML products as well as developing new ones. Following this he has held broker development and product managing roles for CBC, Tradex and Winn Solicitors until joining THB in 2011. Based in Essex, he now covers part of our Southern region.

James Harris brings over 15 years’ experience, from technical underwriting roles at AIG and RSA through to successful business development roles in the London regional marketplace. He has built strong relationships across both insurers and brokers and has extensive knowledge of the London Market and product development.
North East, North West and Scotland
Chris Fozard joins from MS Amlin where he held the role of Senior Development Underwriter. With over 20 years’ experience with both insurers and brokers, he has established strong broker relationships across the North of England and brings a wealth of technical knowledge across a broad range of product classes.

My background is in customer services – both face-to-face and over the phone.
I work within our sales team for THBUKRS heading up our back office along side Kristine Gettings and Kelly Spiniello, together we ensure everything comes together organising broker visits, MI reports, general updates to our brokers and organising new agencies. We work hard to bring together an effective database which allows us to monitor the continuing development and needs of our brokers.
Stuart Leate has joined the professional risks division as a Senior Account Handler having recently moved from Marsh. Stuart has just under a decade of experience within the industry, drawing knowledge from a Commercial Crime, Specie, FI and Management Liability background. During a previous role at J. Safra Sarasin Brokerage, Stuart had the additional responsibility of monitoring the fine art storage aggregation limits for their bespoke fine art facility. He has an aptitude for developing strong relationships and takes pride in finding innovative solutions when under pressure.
